Over the years, many companies have come and gone, but there are also some who have made the right (and sometimes wrong) kind of deal. Enter mergers and acquisitions, which are transactions in which the ownership of a company is transferred to another or combined with it. From ExxonMobil of the late 90s to the more recent AT&T-Time Warner merger, these transactions have shaped the economic landscape for years now and continue to do so to this day.
